Mohit Negi filed complaint against Toyota on Oct 23, 2020
Is in regards to TOYOTA INNOVA CRYSTA *.* (V) under PUNJAB REGISTRATION NUMBER - PB**HC**** // JOB CARD ID GSJ******* - at GLOBE TOYOTA Ludhiana .The boot beneath the hood and the pump which helps the steering to move have malfunctioned due to mechanical faults. After inspection by Globe Toyota(Ludhiana),they mentioned they will not cover this under warranty as the part is damaged by an exterior object.They suggested me to file an insurance claim for the problem. Now in conversation with my insurance company(HDFC Ergo), they mentioned that part is not damaged or impacted by any object but because of a mechanical fault and this comes only under maintenance/ warranty issued by the car company (Please find car pictures attached below for your reference). Also HDFC Ergo company is continuously suggesting Toyota to cover this part as mine is not the only case. Claim has been rejected as the part is faulty.
I am shocked to see that I am being charged an exorbitant amount(Rs.*****) when I have actually been servicing and maintaining my car on a regular basis by your company.
I haven't been able to drive my car for almost * weeks now.Can you please help me resolve this ?
