Hello,
I am writing on behalf of my wife here.
she had been using vodafone services (bangalore) for past ** years. and recently we shifted to the UK for short term.
Her vodafone services has been not functioning since last september ****, but Vodafone have been blatantly charging her every month.
we had paid till Jan **** on the condition that the services will resume soon based on the complaints raised to the Vodafone centre. but that did not happen.
Eventually we decided to cancel the services in the month of March, (we didn't pay the bills from Jan to April) but they kept on saying to pay the bill to cancel the services (services we didn't receive for the past * months!).
they started to threaten with court proceedings in case we didn't pay. and it was mentally torturous to read them and deal with the customer care services , who were not interested and spoke in a very unprofessional manner (since they might be working from home). in many instances they were rude enough to CUT the call and switch off their phones which added to the misery.
They kept on insisting that we come to Bangalore and get the sim changed for them to start, we did explain our situation that we are in teh UK and that is physically not possible and adding to it the COVID -** situation, it rendered us completely helpless and emotionally broken.
we have now paid the bill of **** odd and have urged them to cancel the service. #
i just want to add this to the list of complaints for Vodafone's lack of showing professionalism
and their call centre's goons who show no sense of empathy and are not trained on how to speak to a suffering customer.
