Vodafone India - to activated the service

A month back moved to Vodafone from Airtel. With Airtel outstanding , Vodafone blocked my phone services which is fair but after paying to Airtel outstanding and sharing payment evidence to Vodafone, Vodafone is saying that service will be restored within *days and that is highly surprising that how come activation of service can take *days while my Vodafone outstanding payments are on time, it is just Airtel settlement amount was missed to pay because of negligence.
For many years with Airtel, I have consistently made timely payments and never faced service downtime. On the rare occasions there was an issue, it was resolved within minutes or at most an hour, which is acceptable. However, a four-day SLA is excessive. Despite all my timely payments, I am currently without service, and it seems it will take four days to resolve. This is highly unacceptable.

I suffered significantly today as a working woman. Midway through my day, I realized my service was stopped due to a previous service provider payment. I immediately went to an Airtel gallery and paid the bill because I need my phone to stay connected with my kids. However, I was then informed by Vodafone that I would have to wait ** hours for reactivation. This is completely unacceptable.
Given this illogical delay just to activate service, I am reconsidering my choice. How can it possibly take four days to restore service? I am seriously considering staying with Vodafone, as this experience with Vodafone has been deeply disappointing.
