Very sad on a 4 star hotel not providing basic amenities as promised to the customer. Not addressing customer problem. After 2 hrs of my literally fighting for my right with hotel people and @makemytrip people. I still get this answer. On their site they say a/c room available but a/c abhi on nahi hai.. I got these different answers for mmt and hotel staff.
1. Ek room ke liye ac on karenge toh sab rooms ka chalega. Occupancy problem hai.
2. A.c on hi nahi hai
3. Temperatureof shimla is 12 degree. It doesnot need ac
4. Another one says ac is not on for this season.
5. Then a gentleman comes and says. Its on heating mode.
7. Even if they switch on the ac it will take 3-4 days to start cooling mode
6. They are happy to provide me a table fan
Talking on make my trip customer care. They offer me a series of solution
FYI.. tag line of mmt assured scheme is “Havinga problem with the hotel, we resolve your problem in 60 mins or stay is free.”
One hour into the talks with four different personnels of mmt I get a series of solution and a hang-up.
1. Temp of shimla is 12 degree. You dont need an ac.
2. Ac is on heating as other guests require heating and because ac is centrally controlled.
3. All we can do is we can cancel the booking and you can Go ahead and book another hotel in the area from our site.
4 when i demanded a full refund. They offered me 25 % instead of their 100% claim as per site.
5 to top it all I got this message of 100 rs refund on hourly basis till my problem is solved.
