Kushal Jain filed complaint against Uber Cabs on May 9, 2018
I had booked an Uber cab on **th November, but I couldn't get in touch with the driver due to network issues he faced so I booked another cab through another company and took my trip. Thinking that the Uber driver shouldn't lose money for the cancellation I'd do, I didn't cancel the ride myself and thought that he'd cancel it. After that I didn't use Uber for a long time and took my next ride on **th April, and when the driver asked for the fare, it was *** rupees higher than what ut should've been, and when I checked the details in his phone, it showed that I've been charged by Uber for not taking that ride on **th November, for which I didn't even receive a notification from them. *** Rupees for a ride that i didn't even take!! So I filed a complaint in the Uber app. I got a call from Uber and since the person on call said that she wouldn't be able to help me, I asked her to get me in touch with a senior and she told me within ** hours I'll get a call. I waited for a week and didn't get any response from their side. Then I filed a complaint again, no response again. After a few days I again filed a complaint and then got a call. The same thing happened and i was told that I'll get a call back in ** hours, but even nearly a weel after that I haven't got any response from their side. I've made multiple complaints in the app now, no response to them there too.
This is the worst customer service I've ever seen in a Multinational company in India. And Uber, being a pioneer in their field provide such service to their customers, it's a shame! I hope to get a response from their side soon.
