Karthicksathya filed complaint against Uber Cabs on May 4, 2018
Due to unavailability of cabs , I took uber auto . I had tried auto earlier with credit card payment and there were no issues.
Once I reached the destination , driver asked for the cash. I had explained him as i choosen as card payment and unable to change the payment mode as the trip has already started. He didn’t listen to me and ask for cash payment . I was in a hurry and running out of time .. since I saw the option to compliant on this issue to uber . I had paid him as cash and closed the trip ..
I had reported to uber on the same day but uber says they can’t check with the driver with unacceptable reason. I took that trip due To the trust in uber and they would help us if we face any issues but they failed.
At last customer care representative suggested me to check with drivers on the payment mode before taking the trip. Is that my job ? Then why uber didn’t mention it as a step to the customers ?
Instead they can show that payment option to the drivers and that would solve the problem but still uber didn’t take any action and didn’t reply back to my request .
