- Uber has overcharged the ride fare than initial fare Open
I had pre booked Uber rentals cab on **th of January **** for **th January **** **.** am. At the time of booking i was given a automatically added promotion code (**% off) and estimated fare was ***.* rs for ** kms,*hours.
I took the ride at the time and due to little extra rounds taken by the cab driver our total distance was **.** kms covered in about *.** hour.
Uber has charged me *** rs for the final ride and for taking *.** kms extra. When enquired with the helpline, they gave me recalculation for the ride taken and when insisted that there is a error from their end they started justifying by saying the promotional code was valid only upto **th january rides.
Like they mentioned i had prebooked the ride for **th january and the code wasnt manually added by me. It was automatically added to the ride fare when i was booking. I had made no changes in the ride.
This is clearly a misleading and daylooting of uber from customers.
