Shankhoneel Ghosh filed complaint against Uber Cabs on May 28, 2018
I took a ride worth Rs. ** with Uber on **.*.**. at *.** am, which I paid for by Paytm at *.** am.
However, Uber, inspite of accepting the payment, is showing a 'Outstanding payment' message, and asking for payment again.
I have contacted Uber through Twitter as well as the in-app help section, and they are not responding.
A similar incident has happened in the past, precisely on **.*.**., when I was charged Rs. ** twice for a single ride, once paid at *.** pm and then paid again at *.** pm. Both transactions happened through Tez UPI. I was forced to bear the unjustified charges at that time because I was in dire need of transportation.
As a customer who makes payments on time, such incidents make me feel cheated.
