Veena world - Tour Operator not providing full refund and insisting on travel to corona virus infected area

Abhishek Pal filed complaint against Veena world on Mar 10, 2020

I have done booking with Veena World, Pune for May/**** group tour. However, on sudden outset of corona virus in Leh & Pune, I do not want to travel to Leh. I am requesting tour operator to cancel the booking and either refund the full amount or park it for my future trip. But Veena World is applying cancellation policy which is going to deduct **% of the amount. Moreover they are insisting me to keep up the travel plans even when Government is asking to avoid travel to infected areas. I don't want to loose the money, **K is big amount for us. In situation like this Veena World must consider the safety and interest of travellers instead of armtwisting and making us pay the penalty. I want to laudge the complaint against Veena World for their irresponsible behaviour and forcing me pay the penalty.
