I would like to share my recent disappointing experience with Zomato, which I hope will serve as a warning for others.
I ordered Chicken Kebab through Zomato for a gathering of guests. To my dismay, the kebabs were stale and completely unfit for consumption. This was not only embarrassing but also a serious health risk. Upon realizing the poor quality of food, I immediately contacted Zomato’s customer service team to raise the issue.
However, instead of resolving the situation, customer service refused to issue a refund or take any responsibility. Despite my multiple attempts to explain the situation and share evidence, their response was dismissive and unsatisfactory. I had to bear the loss of the order and the inconvenience it caused to my guests.
This kind of service is unacceptable, especially when it concerns food safety and customer satisfaction. Zomato should take responsibility for the quality of food delivered through their platform and offer proper compensation when things go wrong.
I urge Zomato to review their policies and improve its customer service to address such complaints fairly. I would also appreciate any suggestions from fellow members on how I can escalate this matter further.
