- Sony PS3 Service Issue Open
this is in reference to service request job no. j******** for our ps* serial no. ******* *** gb model which is giving no video output on tv.
we had submitted the console to Sony Service center and in response to our service complaint , sony India informed us that the product could not be service and they offered a replacement offer for a ps* ***gb at **% of the cost i.e *****/- which is too much of the extra cost for us.
also, the ps* controller and the game CD's would not work with the PS* console, that would make our existing second controller (bought for player *) and all games CD's a waste. plus there would be an additional monetary burden on us to buy a second controller and the games cd's for ps* model.
So, I requested Sony India to exchange for existing ps* console with the ps* model only instead of the ps* model to which they have replied that it is not possible.
since then I am writing repeated emails to sony india to escalate my matter and provide me a better solution, but they have not responded back in-spite of my several reminders.
and my concern still remains the same.
I have bought ps* *** gb at around **,***/- and invested another **,***/- in the game cd's and *nd controller (for player *). so that totals to **,***/- .
i sparsely used the device and it went faulty just after * year and when we consulted the service center last year and they told me that it would be exchanged at **% of the cost. But , I was not ready for the offer.
but now, thinking that my *****/- is getting wasted for nothing , i raised a service request for a better solution.
and now, you are asking me to invest another **,***/- for the ps* Console along with the prices for Controller * (which is around *,***) and games cd which would be around **,*** more if i go in for *-* games. that means i would end up paying **,*** again to make my console useful. which is equal to the initial investment I had made the first time. and if you replace my ps* *** gb with the same variant, i would save upon the extra cost on the controller and cd plus a lesser cost for the ps* console and moreover that was what I had initially chosen.
and if ps* *** gb is not available with sony then that's not my problem. so, why should I be suffering because of that. And moreover its like penalizing your customers to choose sony Products.
i had worst experience with their gaming devices. Earlier I owned a psp and now with this ps*.
