- Shabby Modular Kitchen Work ^Open

I booked my entire Flat Interior Work to M/s Casa Interior Studio Private Ltd, Chennai (M/s Do My Home) for my New Flat at Casa Grande, Korattur on **.**.**** for Rs.*,**,***/-. M/s Do My Home is sister concern of Casa Grande.
At the time of booking my Interior work in ****, my Casa Grande Flat construction initial work was going on. Being sister concern of M/s Casa Grande, I requested M/s Do My Home to co-ordinate with M/s Casa Grande and not to carry out certain work in order to ease Interior Work and also to save money. However, no co-ordination was done and I have incurred unnecessary costs on Kitchen Top, Kitchen tiles, etc.
Also there were no communication from M/s Do My Home for quite some time. On taking up with M/s Do My Home management, I came to know that the Designer has left and no co-ordination was carried out. As there were frequent changes in allotted designer, my planned design was not carried on properly and not up to our satisfaction. At one stage I decided to cancel my booking with M/s do My Home. As per the conditions of M/s Do My Home, ** percent of payment will be deducted as Cancellation charges. Considering this, I requested M/s Do My Home to carry out only Modular Kitchen Interior work for the advance payment made (ie., Rs.*,**,***/-) and cancel my remaining Interior work.
Accordingly M/s Do My Home started their Modular Kitchen work at my Flat on *nd September, ****. Since the Kitchen Slab was small and Hob was touching the Kitchen Wall, I requested M/s Do My Home to remove the existing Slab and arrange new Kitchen Granite Slab. M/s Do My Home gave an estimate of around Rs.***** towards supply and installation of Granite, Removal of existing Granite, Laying of Wall tiles, switch point shifting. I agreed and made the final balance payment of Rs.**,***/-.
M/s Do My Home has completed Kitchen work by taking additional two weeks’ time. M/s Do My Home has made the Modular Kitchen in such a shabby way and it was an utter failure from M/s Do My Home from Design Team to Execution Team. I raised the following issues to M/s Do My Home designers over Phone, Whatsapp and Mail. However, there was no action till date:
*. There is a space of around *” gap between Tall Unit and wall. we requested them to keep Tall Unit at the right Corner whereas they have unnecessarily left around *" gap and wasted just for nothing.
*. The basic purpose of Shutter unit suggested by Do My Home was to keep Grinder and Mixer and cover it. As per Shutter Unit cupboard executed now, height of the last compartment is around ** to ** cms only. We cannot keep neither grinder nor mixer in that place.
*. In addition to it, there is an Electric Box(Switch Board) is occupying the width of around ** cm inside the Cupboard. Again in the switch board there is no plug point for Mixer or Grinder. Instead of placing the Electric Box in the wall, just to simplify their job they put it in the Cupboard itself. Whereas Rs.****/- was charged for shifting the Switch Board. There is no use of the Cupboard and now we have to keep our Grinder and Mixer only outside.
*. Again main purpose of changing the Kitchen Slab is not to keep the Hob near to wall/kitchen tiles. Whereas Pan Stand is kept very near to the wall and the basic purpose is defeated. Wall side burners are the bigger ones and we cannot keep any big vessels in those two
*. Rolling Shutter is getting struck and not working properly.
*. I bought branded Kitchen Sink and while fixing the Sink, labourers have taken away the Waste coupling and later the site engineer has bought local made waste coupling. It started rusting now itself.
*. Tiles finishing work was not complete and Tall Unit gab not filled even after pointing out.

Though M/s Do My Home has to complete the work by **th October, ****. I gave them time up to **th November, **** for rectification and completion.
However, till date rectifications are not made, Quality check not carried out, Warranty Card not handed over, Signing Off not made from me till date.
Hence, I request Voxya to file my Case in Consumer Forum suitably and arrange for return my cost of shabby Modular Kitchen work by M/s Do My Home and with a penalty amount of Rs.** Lakhs for the mental agony to me and my family undergone for all these * months. All images such shabby works are attached in pdf file.
