I moved in to a house on *-sept-**** through Nestaway. I had paid a security deposit of INR **k and as listed in their policy that one month notice period has to be provided if I decide to move out before * months and on completion of * months, ** days notice period has to be provided. I had completed my * months on the Mar-****. I decided to move out in July. I gave my move out date as *th of july and had given notice period of ** days as mentioned to us earlier. Later, when I got my security deposit, it was just **,***. on further enquiry as to why my **** was deducted. They first of all were not answering my queries, but then reluctantly they told me that those **** were deducted because I had not given notice period of * month. They have changed in light of covid-**. This is pure deception. They change their policies every now and then.
