- Security concern from restaurant owner Open
On the evening of **th April ****, I had placed an order from Laziz pizza, beach road, Kozhikode, Kerala using my swiggy app. The order was paid via Paytm and delivered on time thanks to the delivery partner. The problem I had is the owner of the restaurant had come with the delivery executive to deliver the food on the pretext of wanting to know who the customer is. The food was for my girlfriend who placed the order using my swiggy account. He wanted to meet and talk with her on the pretext of getting to know a regular customer and I wasn't even a regular customer. I had ordered pizza only one time before this incident.
I had immediately called into swiggy to report the issue but I received no information regarding the same. This is a severe breach of security why would the owner of a restaurant want to go meet up with my girlfriend. Why has swiggy not taken any action? And this incident happened at night not even during the day. Had she requested the food to be delivered to her apartment? That is a severe breach of security. Two strange men showing up to her address to deliver one single pizza, its absurdity absurd. I want strict action to be taken against Laziz pizza and the owner. This is a cause for women's safety concern. Swiggy really needs to look into this had something unlawful happened, who would have to be blamed. This is not a small issue, how I believe that the owner of the restaurant is not a stalker and a potential threat to the safety of my girlfriend. I want severe strict action taken against the restaurant and I want to be informed about the action taken against them.
Does swiggy really want to wait until something unlawful happens before realising how big an offence this is? This is a breach of contract of confidentiality between swiggy and me as a customer.
