- Ride pass offered but unable to pay Open
I received message from Uber notifying me that I am being offered a ride pass on their platform. Ride pass allows a customer to ride at a cheaper rate on payment of a fee. I tried multiple times to purchase that ride pass but I could not becuase I was unable to pay for the same. I raised an issue with Uber and Uber acknowledged that there is a technical bug on their end and they are working to resolve it. However even after repeatedly asking, they refused to provide me with the expected time when this bug will be fixed. They notified me that I should have patience and that they have passed my issue to a specialized team and I will be receiving an update from them. Now * week later I see that the 'specialized team' has resolved my issue on their own without notifying me. No resolution has been provided and now the offer to buy the ride pass has ended. What is my fault and why should I pay a higher price for my cabs because uber had a bug on their end and did not let me pay? They also refused to resolve my issue even after acknowledging it.
