ORDER # ***-*******-******* was picked up on *th Feb. **** by an executive who called from +** ** ******** around **:** a.m.; around **:** p.m. same day I received another call from +** ** ******** enquiring about the pick up, I shared with the second executive that the item has been already picked up.
Till date order reflects as not picked up, this is after having various online chats & telephonic discussions with Amazon customer service team
Every time you call them up, one has to start afresh, they do not have access to previous chats.
One of the executive explained the following procedure to me i.e. "Amazon customer service executive will raise a tracker & in the event of "No response" from the seller, Amazon would refund the payment within ** working days from *th Feb. ****, Iam still counting
Another executive said he has arranged a call back & immediate refund within * days on **th Feb.****
Another executive explained to me that I need not bother about the online status reflecting as "Item not picked up". As per Amazon policy, refund will be automatically processed within ** - ** working days.
If the executive who picked up the item did not punch it into the Amazon system, as a customer how can I be made responsible for that & refund is withheld , If I get a call saying "Calling from Amazon, I have come to pick up the return, What should I do, first check their Amazon I.D's & then hand over the item & if it's a *rd party employed person do not handover anything to him.
I do not understand "how difficult is it to track which executive had called from +** ** ******** at **:** a.m. on my registered mobile number available with Amazon"
Needless to mention the supplier had shipped "used electric kettle wrapped in simple thermocol & my post regarding same was not approved by Amazon.
Amazon sellers sell used items as well & there is no policy at Amazon to check What is being shipped at the time of dispatch ? Used or new item. Amazon will ship anything that's wrapped by coolly putting it in a carton with Amazon logo cello tape on it.
