I had a round trip international flight booking from Bengaluru to San Francisco on *th of May and back to Bengaluru on **th of May both ways on Japan Airlines, made this booking on MakeMyTrip. This was supposed to be a new route launch by Japan airlines. Due to Covid** issue Japan Airlines suspended the route launch and published online circular stating ***% refund regardless of booking terms(this was done even before lockdown *.* began).
As I did this booking on MakeMyTrip(unfortunately), Japan Airlines says I need to deal with Makemytrip for my refund. Makemytrip has a huge comments of harassing customers emotionally by not returning refund on their social media platforms, my story is no different with them. While it is a challenge to reach Makemytrip customer with no response, mental agony of dealing with fake automated messages, it was very quick and welcoming on call to reach Japan Airlines. From the beginning(more than two months), Makemytrip kept on saying that Japan airline has not refunded the money. I want to proceed with legal complaint and consumer complaint next, I would like to know where exactly is my money struck?!
I need to know if I need to involve both of the entities in my complaint or just one.
