I have booked domestic flight tickets of Indigo Airlines from COK to IXC via HYD for the date of ** March **** on * February **** through Goibibo flight booking app. An amount of Rs.***** was paid for the same. It includes total ticket fare of Rs.***** and a cancellation protection premium of Rs.**** and other convenience charges.
Goibibo cancellation policies stated that if the flight was cancelled by the airlines, full refund will be provided to the passenger. Also, I had took cancellation protection premium for Rs.**** which permits the passenger to cancel the ticket prior to ** hours of journey results in refund of the amount excluding cancellation protection premium.
Due to coronavirus pandemic, my ticket was cancelled by the airlines on or before ** March ****. The ticket fare amount of Rs.***** was provided as a credit shell by the airlines. But Goibibo was earlier promised full refund of the amount paid if the flight was cancelled by the airlines side.
Therefore, I request to refund the full amount I paid, i.e Rs.*****, from Goibibo airlines as soon as possible. It has been **(as on **/*/****) days since the flight ticket got cancelled and I am not able to contact Goibibo customer support and also i have sent * emails for which i got no proper replies.
