The issue that I have experienced was: My son has booked tickets on **th Feb **** for * of his friends from Moscow to Mumbai (** June ****) & Mumbai to Moscow (* Sep ****) for URAL Airlines thru Make My Trip. He booked these International tickets from Make My Trip & used my credit card. They all are studying there in Russia & were planned to come to India for their vacation. The Booking ID NN *************.
Unfortunately, the tickets were not got booked due to some technical issue at their end (as informed by Make My Trip team) but the amount of Rs. **,*** has been debited from my credit card for the same. There was communication received about the refund of the amount for the non-booking of tickets. Now, till this date, even after vigorous follow up from our side, there is no appropriate & assured communication from Make My Trip team,
There are many communications from our side asking about the refund of money either thru helpline chats or Calling customer care team or via mails. Every time, we have been asked for allowing some time like **/** hours but there is no any outcome.
Also, there are different information / communications every time like
• Initial communication that the refund will be processed in ** to ** hours
• Then, there is some system error, will sort out shortly
• Then. Refund has already processed, please share your account statements
• Then, for refund processed for manual approval as system has some issue
• Then, there is no response from Airline
• Now, the mail received is
“With regards to your query, we need to inform you that as we per the revert form our concern team refund will be processed in ** days after validation. So we request you to please wait for given time. As of now we are closing this request form our side.
If in given time refund not reflecting you can re-open the case. We are always there to assist you.
When we used to call helplines, many times, the person used to chat with us has taken my mobile number (as I am in India) & all the times, assured that they will revert me personally.
It occurred on: **/**/****
My issue is far before KOVID-** outbreak (**th Feb ****). There were no any flight cancellation or anything lock down declared by any country (except China). So, without mixing issue, Make My Trip has to refund my entire amount of Rs. **,***/- back without any further delay to my credit card account.
This is sufficient for us.
