I booked a domestic flight ticket for my elderly grandfather two months back. Since the airline kept changing the time of departure we canceled the ticket since my grandfather is old and would be unable to wait for such long hours alone. We did this under the premise that a refund would be credited to the account from which the payment was made within ** working days. It has been two months and nothing has been done.
Since I booked the ticket for my grandfather, I paid for it from my account and they are refusing to credit the money to me saying that they cannot credit to an account that is associated with another person, but the cancellation policy did not mention anything as such. They had no problem accepting payment from an account that wasn't linked to the traveler but now they are making it impossible to get a refund. I have never seen such poor customer service from any company.
I hope some action will be taken in the near future.
