- Refund Open
I made a booking on **th February ****, via Cleartrip . The Trip ID is ************.
Same day after a couple of hours, I received an email from Clear trip stating :
We are writing to let you know that the payment for the trip below was unsuccessful as we didn't get a confirmation from your bank.
If your account was charged, it has been automatically refunded. Please note that it may take *-** business days for the amount to reflect in your account. Some public sector banks may take longer than this to credit the refund.
I made another booking (Trip ID ************) on the same day via cleartrip.
As per the Rules and Regulations, I patiently waited for *-** working days for the refund trusting that I wont be cheated and the refund would be made as mentioned : *-** Business Days.
I raised complaint regarding this multiple times and every time had the same answer that the Finance Team is working on it.
On Sunday *th March , i received an email, that the refund status is still in progress and will get back to me in ** hours.
Thank you for booking with Cleartrip. This email is with reference to your flight reservation under Trip ID:************.
This is to inform you that your concern is raised to relevant team and we are awaiting a revert from there. We request you to allow us **hrs of time and we shall get back to you.
We apologize for the inconvenience you had.
Its **th March today, nearing a month , the refund is not made yet. No clear trip official dares to call and simply just puts a cut copy email every time.
My question is , neither did I travel, neither did make any cancellation. Then why is the concerned team taking so long to initiate the refund. Its a clear cut closed case .
Its our hard earned money . Cleartrip is literally making me beg for my own money.
Such an unprofessional behaviour was least expected by cleartrip.
