Poulomi Singha filed complaint against Flipkart on Aug 4, 2020
I ordered OD****************** wardrobe that I purchased in September last year,the latch of wardrobe was malfunctioning so I contacted Flipkart warranty support team and they agree that it is covered in warranty hence they booked a technician to visit,the guy came and checked and informed that such latches are not available in market but he will check with his team and try to arrange an alternate latch and then he will revisit to fix it,we waited for * days and then on Sunday **th July same technician called and told us very bluntly that latches are not covered under warranty so they will not replace it,it made us very upset bcz we waited for a week,I tried to explain him that it is covered under warranty as informed by Flipkart customercare but he was not ready to listen and told me to contact Flipkart if I don't agree to his decision I called the warranty helpline but it was not connecting so I called customercare and the person at the other end disconnected the call after listening to the whole situation and since then we have been trying to contact them and get this matter sorted but everytime we have been Hung up on , atleast * times since **th July which is why we are so frustrated,all that we want is to get the latch fixed bcz without it the main lock wouldn't work
I even tagged them on social media but all that they say is please be assured it will be resolved in **-** hrs..
I have to move to another city and I am not sure if they will continue to support under warranty in a different city which is why I am more frustrated by contacting them each day trying to resolve it before I move out of the current city
