I am writing to file a formal complaint against Flipkart regarding a recent order that I placed on their platform. On *th October ****, I ordered a Studd Helmet during the Big Billion Day sale having order id - OD******************, with an expected delivery date of **th October. However, my experience with Flipkart has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
On **th October, I received a call from a courier delivery person who requested that I pick up the product from his location, even though I had specified my preferred delivery location during the order placement. I insisted on having the product delivered to my chosen location, but the courier refused and informed me that I would receive the product on **th October.
The promised delivery date of **th October came and went, as did **th October, without any communication from the courier. Frustrated by the lack of updates, I reached out to Flipkart to inquire about the status of my order. To my dismay, Flipkart informed me that the delivery would now take place on **th October, then **th, and later, on **st October. These constant delays were not only inconvenient but also caused me significant anxiety and inconvenience.
The situation took an even more distressing turn when I received an email from Flipkart on a Monday morning, stating that my order had been canceled at my request. I was shocked because I had not initiated any such request for cancellation. When I contacted Flipkart to clarify the situation and express my concerns, they suggested that it might be a "technical issue." This explanation was unsatisfactory and only added to my frustration.
I have waited for two weeks, during which time my money was held by Flipkart, and now I am left with neither the product I ordered nor any satisfactory resolution to this issue. The worst part is that the product is now out of stock, making it impossible for me to place a new order at the same price.
In light of this, I kindly request your intervention in this matter to ensure that I receive the following:
A full refund of the purchase amount as soon as possible.
Adequate compensation for the inconvenience, stress, and time wasted during this ordeal.
Appropriate action taken against Flipkart to prevent such issues from recurring in the future.
A commitment from Flipkart to make the product available to me at the same price when it is back in stock, as I should not be penalized for their errors.
I believe that it is essential to hold Flipkart accountable for the mismanagement of my order and their failure to address the situation appropriately. I trust that Voxya will help ensure that justice is served in this case and that other customers do not have to endure similar harassment and inconveniences when using Flipkart's services.
