- Paying Extra for their mistakes! Closed
I ordered my food as usual and was waiting for it, then the delivery person calls me up and says the order items you placed aren't available so the restaurant is ready to 'Replace' it with given options, and when I chose from those options, they said i have to pay Rs. ** Extra, as its costlier than the original ordered item, after some discussion and my complaining and them not understanding, I agreed to pay the extra money, and now the total bill they said os Rs. *** now, as the original bill was of Rs. ***.
Now comes a message from Swiggy that I have to pay Rs. ***, EXTRA, as the coupon I applied was applicable on the app only and now I have to pay the discounted amount which I was supposed to get by ordering from Swiggy!
I called up the customer support and the guy explains this to me at ** PM. I ordered my food between *:**pm - *:** pm, now waiting for my food, i had to go through this. Just because of their error, i had to spend the night without food. They gave me no choice But to Pay More!
This is not acceptable from Companies like Swiggy. Its not about the money even,
I Had to reorder from somewhere else and wait again for * hour. What's the point of their services then?
