Amazon - Package not Delivered, but status showing delivered

I placed a order for Toshibha External Hard Disk in Amazon Portal on **.**.****, for a one day Delivery that is on next day, But next day morning by **.**Am, when I was going through my Amazon account, I found the delivery status of the Product as Delivered, and after that checked with my Family in home to confirm whether it was delivered and came to know that the product was not delivered, after that called the Amazon customer care to check what has happened, they said that the delivery boy might have updated by mistake, but dont worry and your product will reach by **.**.**** as promised by Amazon, I waited till *.** Pm, but did not receive my order, again called the customer care, they said wait for * days, that is untill **.**.****, saying that they have escalated the issue to the next team, again when I called on **.**.****, they gave me a shocking news that I will have to wait for another * more business days., that they will escalate the issue to the next level.......That is all I have. Amazon has a worst customer care system, even after a complaint is raised, they never tend to call the customer back to update the status. Please help me in getting this issued solved.........Thanks............
