This is the long story with Lenskart. I ordered two progressive glasses in June. They gave me glasses with the wrong prescription, so they replaced them. I still couldn’t see properly with the replacement glasses, so I checked with them again. The customer executive confirmed that it was due to incorrect eye measurements by their staff. I got approval for both glasses to be exchanged again, but I only exchanged one pair as I was fed up with the return and exchange process. I continued using my reading glasses for work and for walking, while using the Lenskart progressive glasses occasionally.
Now, the frame of the pair I didn’t exchange is losing its color coating. When I complained about this, I also realized that I couldn’t see well with these glasses because I had paid for wide corridor lenses, but they gave me narrow corridor lenses. When I asked to replace the same glasses with wide corridor lenses, they asked for more money. I had already paid for the wide corridor lenses, and if there was any difference in frame charges, that should have been communicated. Lenskart cannot decide to change the glasses on their own, especially for a customer who is complaining about not being able to see properly.
I have gone through so much hassle and difficulty due to their mistakes. Instead of compensating me with one or two glasses or refunding my money, they are asking for more money. Do you realize the pain of not being able to see properly despite wearing glasses? Do you realize the disturbance caused by constantly complaining, calling customer care, visiting branches, returning old glasses, and waiting for new ones? Instead of compensating me, you are asking for more money. This is cheating.
