On the *nd of Feb **** at **:**hrs I ordered food for ₹***.**/-only (Items Include a Fried rice and chicken Lollipop) from Sree Subbu Mess, Race course, Coimbatore, through the Swiggy food delivery service. The food was not delivered till **:**hrs. Thinking that the food preparation is getting delayed I called the restaurant to know that the food was ready long ago but, the delivery person has not been assigned by Swiggy. When I approached Swiggy for solution, they said they will assign a delivery person immediately and assigned a delivery person virtually and the tracking showed "the delivery person has arrived at the restaurant for food pickup and the food is still being prepared", but when I called the restaurant to know that no one has physically arrived at the restaurant. After knowing Swiggy has been negligent in their service, I asked them to cancel the order and I said I shall place another order near by, but to my vain, all the restaurants have already closed . This has caused me mental agony. Swiggy suggested an offer me to return my money and as a token of apology they said they will provide coupon for ₹***.**/-only. I was not ready to accept is as that money would not satisfy my hunger that time. Swiggy has not attempted to call me or talk to me till date or return the money that it has taken from me.
