I am a Chinese National married to an Indian Doctor and living in Kerala. I had been fooled by Myntra.com - online shopping company. i lost around **** INR of hard earned money. This online company is a subsidiary of FLIPKART. They fool a customer , and reasons are
*) claims ***% original products - reality is substandard products.
*) No product has customer reviews but has "likes" to fool a customer into buying.
*) no contact email
*) no product feedback review option
*) claims to accept returns of faulty products - i received clothes which are old and bitten by cockroaches with holes in it and of different color than i ordered. it did not have price tags. they have a single number which is a hotline and after calling this number +**-**-******** there will not be any solution. they will only accept products with price tags. ( they send one without it and how can i invent price tags?) .
I cant even return products. I trusted an Indian online shopping company because I always use chinese TaoBao and JD.com to purchase. I learned that I cannot trust these services like i used to do in China. I am a Chinese woman and I dont want to indulge in any law related things. So I am writing this.
My suggestion - please bring a law to regulate these online companies. They make huge profits fooling middle class people. If we had more than enough money we would not try to purchase products online for a cheaper price. The injustice I had suffered and the money lost should not happen with other women living in India.
