Air India Express - My flight ticket was cancelled stating operational reasons But ticket for the same flight is availab

I booked a flight through goibibo for a trip from Trivandrum(TRV) to Bengaluru(BLR) on **th july which was supposed to departure at *.** am. But on *th july I received a mail stating that the fight in cancelled due to operational reasons. A refund was initiated but the problem is I had to rebook another flight for the same trip at a higher price compared to the first one. But while checking on other apps, the flight that is said to be cancelled is available for the same journey. I want to know how is this possible as flight is canceled but tickets are still available for a higher price in other ticket booking apps and websites. More over I had to spent more money to book another flight ticket for my trip due to this cancelation.
