Dear Sir / Ma’m,
Through this letter I am informing you about my complaint against Max Life Insurance Company
Purpose of this letter to make you aware of Max Life Insurance Company , very bad customer’s service. So that you can also (if possible) ask them for this or at least look beyond Max Life Insurance Company if you want to take a Insurance policy or Mediclaim Policy.
I will be highly obliged, if you forward this letter to your friends and relatives also, so that they know about the very bad service provided by Max Life Insurance Company. Following are the details of our case.
On *.*.** , my daughter Ms. Isha Bansal purchased a Mediclaim Family Floater Policy number ************** of Rs. **.* Lakh cover from Max Bupa, by paying the premium Rs. *****.**. The persons covered under this policy were (a) Isha Bansal and her husband (b) Antriksh Bhaskar
As per Policy terms, claims like accidental injuries are covered from **st day.
Unfortunately, my son in law Mr. Antriksh Bhaskar met with an accident on *.*.** (about ** days after the issue of policy). As per MRI report he suffered from Fracture of medial and lateral tibial condyles with intra-articular extension with marrow edema in surrounding bones.
For this he underwent a knee fracture surgery Arthroscopic ACL Fixation Surgery .
Max Life Insurance Company later rejected our claim by saying that, he was suffering from ,"known case of instability of knee since Dec. ****"
Receiving their rejection, we have written to Max Life Insurance Company. That please tell us that how they have concluded that Mr. Antriksh was suffering from, "known case of instability of knee since Dec. ****". If they are able to convince us on this, we will drop the idea of filing the legal case against them. This will save our (and theirs) time and money.
To our surprise Max Life Insurance Company is not replying on this issue.
This is happening to us when I had paid a whooping sum of Rs. *,**,***.** (Six Lacs, sixty one thousands, nine hundred and fourteen only) as premium to Max Life Insurance Company in the year ****-** for my family and staff.
If Max Life Insurance Company can do this to a heavy premium paying customer like me, what it will be doing to general public, when they will file their claims and need that amount for the treatment.
I also invite the sufferers like me with their stories, so that the normal persons who are going to purchase policy of Max Life Insurance Company , may think again before purchasing the policy of Max Life Insurance Company
