Firstcry.com - Late Delivery of Product and Refusal to Return it

I purchased a product from FirstCry.com on **st October for Rs.****.
It was a jacket for my son.
I needed it for my holiday for which i was travelling on **th October (attached proof) until **th Nov (can share proof but unable to upload document no.*)
The products delivery date was supposed to be **th October hence I went ahead and purchased it.
However the product wasn't delivered on **th Oct or until I left on **th Oct.
Infact it was delivered on **th Oct (which I got to know now).
However there was no one at home to receive it. So it was left with my neighbours. No call from the delivery executive or I would have atleast been aware that there is a parcel received and I could have raised the return request. So I had no idea about the delivery that happened.
I returned on **th Nov and received the parcel from my neighbours. I immediately raised a return request for the product on **th itself. However the firstcry team rejected it initially stating that it's a non returnable product. When I shared with them that its a returnable product they then said the return window had passed which is not fair given that they delayed the delivery by over * days and therefore its only right that they extend the return window by * days.
(Return window closed on *th Nov, I came back to India on **th Nov and immediately raised return request on **th).
Because I wasn't there in the country to know or receive it I did it the moment I learnt of it.
The product is no longer needed by me as it was needed specifically for the trip which they didnt deliver on time. Therefore its a waste of my money (Rs.****) due to their delay.
I am attaching the invoice.
The delivery date that was showing because of which I ordered (which is **th Oct)
And my travel ticket of **th Oct proving that I wasn't in the country to receive the products or raise a return due to their delays.
