Aayush Gupta filed complaint against Paytm on Mar 20, 2023
On March ** ****, (around *:** PM) I went to Saluja Telecom(a "preferred partner" according to Paytm App)(***, SS Rana Rd, Indra Nagar, A Block, Majlis Park, Adarsh Nagar, New Delhi, Delhi ******) to get my full KYC done for Paytm. I was in a hurry(my mistake) and the KYC representative saw that desperation and asked me money to complete my KYC (as if it's a necessary charge). He took *** Rs. from me in total(*** in cash and ** through Paytm wallet because I didn't have more cash to give). Then when I went home I found that KYC is free and then i called him and he picked up casually. I asked him about this and he mumbled something as if there was a network issue and then cut the call. I called back and he rejected the call.
It's clear that he has done fraud with me.
I then tried to contact Paytm about it but they don't have a protocol for registering a complaint like this. There chat options are limited to pre-defined topics. There is no number i can call to directly get a human being to listen. (Or even indirectly as even the helpline numbers have limited pre-defined topics to discuss). After about * hrs , i somehow got a reply through Paytm chat registering my issue and it asked me for details and i gave it to them but they haven't replied me back(and it's been more than * hrs since then).
