I moved in on *th August '** without any move in inspection, checklist and police verification then.
I stayed in the flat for ** days. Then I was out of town and returned back on *th September to the rented place when I found there's no electricity. When I checked the meter box to my surprise the wire was cut and the fuse removed. I informed the owner, area manager(Karthik) and also raised a complaint ticket. It might also surprise you to know that till date the matter remains unresolved. I raised a move out request.
As there wasn't any electricity at the place since *th september I saw no use in staying there and moved to a friend's place. So ironically I was forced to move out before my move out day itself.
On the move out day I met the inspection agent outside the building, who informed me that the meter box is missing and that a technical team would be arriving to reconnect the electricity only after which the inspection would start. He requested me to handover the key to him as it would take time for the team to arrive. So without suspecting any malice I handed over the keys to him and left.
First the electricity bill remained unpaid and then on the day of the move out the meter box itself goes missing.
I wrote an email to the move out POC (Renil) regarding the missing meter box, as I have been contacting him by email regarding the issues from the time I got his mail regarding the move out.
I was shocked to see the inspection video uploaded by the agent (Sufiyan). In his video he seems to be making false claims regarding the defects with the electrical appliance, lights, bulbs and sockets. The reason why I am stating them as false claims are because there was no meter box hence no electricity and even if the electric connection got restored the inspection agent did not even switch on the main power switch inside the room and on the wall outside the washroom.
In the agreement signed by me it is mentioned in the conditions that the painting charges on move out will be based on the "Damage assessment by the agent". Again in the inspection video there is no mention regarding any paint defects. I have shared the photos from my side with Renil (see the trailing mails below) for him to share with his team and make a right assessment as Rs. **** as painting charge is steep, when there is no paint damage done to the property by me.
Plus early move out charge is mentioned as Rs. **** for the extra days. Let me remind you again that since the *th, that is ** days I have been forced to stay elsewhere because neither the Area manager nor the customer support team got the electricity issue resolved. So keeping this in mind the early move out charges should also be reevaluated.
Its been * days since I moved out and have been continuously following up with their customer support.
I called their customer support today as well, narrated the ordeal all over again and even wrote an email to the founder Amarendra sahu and also raised a complaint ticket. I was shocked when in the evening I saw additional electricity charge of Rs. *** added and * false service tickets raised and resolved back dated to the time when I had complained regarding the electricity issue, that is *th september, without any feedback report. It seems like a cover up act as the tickets are dated *th and **th sept. but their service visit date is *st aug. and **th july( both even before my move in).
For the wrong move out inspection, they have again allotted another agent that'll be visiting tomorrow, I have a strong gut feeling from the experiences I have had till now that their intentions are maligned. Hence I am reaching out to this forum and also because of the ignorant attitude of the customer support and the way they are using the complaints to cover up their tracks.
