I had booked a ticket for * passengers on ** May' **** with PNR Number **********. Out of which only * passengers get confirmed seats. The *rd passenger has no berth and *th passenger's status was waiting List * after chart prepared. I called on *st June at **:** am to IRCTC customer care to cancel the ticket but the customer care representative of IRCTC advice me that you do not need to cancel the ticket because it is in Tatkal quota so it will cancel automatically and rest amount will refund to your account. But after a long time waiting I found that there is no money refund to my account. So today again I called to customer care and then I come to know that the ticket is partially waiting list that's why I have to cancel it. But the period to cancel this ticket or to file a TDR already has been passed. Now the previous representative of IRCTC customer care misleads me not to cancel the ticket for this reason the rest amount not refunded to my account. You are requested to take necessary action and reimburse my money as soon as possible.
