I have bought a Whirlpool inverter *.* ton *D Cool Inverter in ****, S/No: CHN*********. I called Ansari technician from Ansh Enterprises an authorized Whirlpool dealer on Saturday i.e. *th May to check my ac AC as it was not cooling and he told me that the compressor needs to be replaced (invoice dated *th March attached). Since the compressor was under warranty he told me I will have to pay for gas filling and the condenser also and gave me the total amount of Rs **,***/-. I told him I will let him know as the cost was too high. Then I called Ansari the technician and asked him that I want to get only the compressor replaced so he was rude and first he hesitated but then he said the cost of compressor and gas will be Rs *,***/- (recorded audio attached of Ansari). Earlier he told me the gas filling was Rs *,***/- in compressor!
I got a call next day on *th May from Ansh Enterprises (Sarojini : Mobile no: **********) saying the total cost is now Rs **,***/- for the same, also, **% advance to be given. I was shocked the way she gave me the cost and saying it is Whirlpools rules now that they have to ask for advance **%. Then I asked her on the vast difference in amounts from **,*** to Rs **,*** within two days, so she said she will talk to her boss and get back. She then called me after * mins and told me that the cost is now Rs **,***. But she will take the full amount in advance.
I told her how can I trust her that her charges are correct because she has been changing the cost as well as the rules of payment. Anyway, since I wanted to get my AC repaired, I decided to get the compressor changed for the time being only so I told her to replace only the compressor since it was under warranty and not the condenser. She refused and spoke to me extremely rudely saying I have to take the condensor also. I have attached my recorded conversation for you to hear and understand. I even told her that she is harassing a customer unnecessarily but if in future the condenser gives an issue, I will call them again, but she flatly refused to replace only the compressor. So how can I trust their authorized dealer.
