Dony Alex filed complaint against Goibibo on Aug 18, 2020
I Dony Alex, had booked the following flights through GOIBIBO.
Air India Flight AI*** on **rd March, ****, from DEL to CDG [PNR: YHK*Q]
Alitalia flights from Paris to Rome (CDG to FCO (flight number AZ***) and Rome to Delhi (AZ***)
[PNR:UIVFXN]
These flights had been cancelled due to COVID and the airlines were offering full refund as one of the options. I wanted the full refund but for just Air India, I received Rs. **,*** with airlines penalty of INR **** on GoCash.
But Air India had confirmed that they are not charging any penalty.
My wife (Suchismita Tarafdar) had also booked tickets in the same flights. But she received the refund of amount of INR ***** for her Air India flight.
Since there was a discrepancy she got this email from GOIBIBO
"As per the telephonic conversation with you we have advised you the refund amount for the booking id -TUAG***SI is INR *****/- but as per the airlines the refund amount was INR *****/- in which we would like to inform you that the discrepancy amount INR *** has been adjusted in the refund amount of the booking id-TUAG**WVS we have refunded the amount INR *****/- instead of INR *****/- "
I had requested repeatedly that I only want full refund on the original mode (credit card). But GOIBIBO sent the partial refund on Go-cash for the Air India flight.
For refund amount of Alitalia flights, I have been trying to contact GOIBIBO without any success.
I want full refund of Alitalia and Air India flights on my credit card. I do not want Go cash or any vouchers.
I request you to look into my grievance.
