- Full Refund Amount not initiated or paid by MakeMyTrip when flight got cancelled by AirAsia in COVID Open
I booked my flight from Ranchi to Bangalore on May-**-****; Travelling Date: June-**-****; Booking Agent: MakeMyTrip; Flight: AirAsia; Flight No.: I*-****; PNR: F****T; Booking ID: NF**************; I received SMS from AirAsia on May-**-**** that my flight got cancelled due to ‘Operational Reasons’ in COVID-** Outbreaks in India. I tried to reach out to Customer Care of MMT and AirAsia, but they are not responding at phone calls, although at MMT APP it was showing this journey has been completed and message was displaying “Hope you had a Nice Journey!” Upon checking with AirAsia at Social Media platforms (T*****r DM), they had confirmed that they have processed the refund amount on June-**-**** and the refund went to the original payment method and I had to liaise with travel agent and that is MMT for the refund. MMT has made false promise on June-**-**** that they have initiated Credit Shell in my MMT account and it will reflect within **-** days in desktop site but I haven’t receive such full refund amount in Credit Shell till July-**-****, so I claimed cancellation request on same day since flight was cancelled by airline due to ‘flight non-operational’ in this COVID-** situations because I need full refund amount in my original payment mode, after so many attempts at social media (T*****r DM) MMT has given less than the half of the full amount at MMT wallet but neither full refund amount has been initiated / paid to me in my original payment mode nor I have received any Credit Shell as such till today July-**-****. As we all know that government of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has issued a notice to give the full refund amount if the travelling agent (in my case MMT) or airline (in my case AirAsia) has received the payment and flight got cancelled by the airline due to lockdown in COVID-** Outbreak situations.
I didn’t know how to contact them how to raise my voice against them, in between I came to know about Voxya in google so I am making complaint here, please have a look on this matter and try to resolve my problems with MMT. Thank you very much in advance.
