Kushagra Bindal filed complaint against Freecharge on May 18, 2019
Yesterday night I made a payment of ***/- for my electricity bill through Freecharge. First of all their system is very slow. I had to wait for a long time and then finally my transaction got failed. As today's was the last day of the bill payment. Then I use Paytm to pay my bill and it got successful as well immediately. But later on, I got an SMS from Freecharge side mentioning that my payment was successful and money got deducted as well from my account. My order #ID:FCEA***************. Another question raised in that how can they without validating the payment amount can pay this to the biller.
Can you please help in resolving this issue. I have raised the same to customer care as well and initially, they refused the same but on showing the fact they accept that their system internally re-triggered the same transaction, which is highly vulnerable and should not be allowed for payment gateway type companies.
Please help in resolving this issue.
