I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the moving services provided by No Brokers company on **th September ****. I had expected a smooth and professional service, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.
*. Inexperienced Staff: Out of the team of four staff and one driver, only the driver and one senior member seemed to have any experience. The other three members lacked knowledge in wrapping, packing, and lifting.
*. Unprofessional Behavior: The driver was not only rude but also excessively talkative, making unnecessary comments about our belongings. He refused to take certain items, including our TV and religious photos, suggesting we transport them ourselves.
*. Poor Packing: The inexperienced staff packed our belongings haphazardly. Items were unevenly distributed in boxes, often only filling half a box before sealing it. This resulted in damage to our belongings, including a ceiling fan and a loft door.
*. Items Left Behind: Despite having a list of items to be moved, several were left behind in our old house, including curtains and a pot. This has forced us to consider booking another vehicle to transport the remaining items.
*. Damage to Furniture: Our furniture, including a sofa, bamboo swing, dining tables, is exposed to rain. Additionally, many items were scratched or damaged due to careless handling.
*. Insurance Issues: We had paid for furniture insurance, but when approached for compensation, we were informed it only covered appliances.
*. Extra Charges: We were charged Rs. **** for the service and an additional Rs. *** for insurance. On top of this, we paid Rs. **** in extra charges, bringing our total to Rs. ****.
*. Lack of Customer Service: After the move, * days later the customer care staff did not show interest in listening. When we finally received a call, the representative showed little interest in our concerns. We have been repeatedly offered a mere Rs. **** as compensation, which is unacceptable given the extent of the damages and stress caused.
Considering the above, we request the following:
• Full compensation for the damaged furniture and belongings.
• Replacement of the damaged loft door and ceiling fan.
• compensation for the cost of another vehicle.
• A refund of the extra Rs. **** we paid.
• A thorough investigation into this matter and appropriate action against the staff involved.
We chose No Brokers in the hope of a hassle-free moving experience, but instead, we have been left with damaged property and added stress. We urge you to address this matter promptly and ensure such incidents do not recur in the future.
