*. I booked tickets for my son to travel from New Delhi to Birmingham via Amritsar on **rd April’**
*. We logged into do web check in on **st April and found that flight from New Delhi to Amritsar is on time while flight to Birmingham stands cancelled.
*. The flight was cancelled a month ago i.e. around **th March’** which was never intimated to us
*. On checking with your Call Centre of both Air India and MMT on **st April we came to know that flight is cancelled.
*. On asking AIR India for Alternate ticket they offer **th April to London. When we called back and later refused **th April also and offered **th May to London.
*. My son had his examinations and we wanted an early flight.
*. Air India did not offer any tickets prior to that date. On checking online we found that there were two tickets on **th April'**. They did not offer those tickets which we had to buy for Rs. ******/- to London. From London he paid another Rs. **** to reach Warwick, his university.
*. Air India had cancelled the flights and refused to give us tickets for **th April which were available.
*. Air India has accepted their mistake and are willing to pay Rs. **,*** as penalty.
