Hello sir/madam,
I'am Mohamed Azeem from Tamilnadu. One of Byjus staff contact my father and convinced him to join me to the online course for **th std.
At the starting itself we refused to the salesman and informed him that we can't afford the fees and also I’m studying Tamil medium only, but he never listen to our word and he again trying to convinced my father, he said that i will arrange you for Tamil medium classes and also you can use this app for some days free if you satisfy only will charge you, otherwise you can cancel anytime without any charges including deposit amount (Rs.****) also will be returned.
The mediator had also not informed about the ** days return policy. Classes not yet started but our EMI started, Amount detected from my father's account, same time we asked the mediator regarding the deduction and requested to him for my course cancellation he said don’t worry will do something but he did nothing, meanwhile I’m trying to learn from the app but i could not understand the classes (offline videos) due to my language problem, beside we started getting the call from Avanse for second EMI regularly minimum ** t* ** calls a day, we clearly told to the collection department(Avanse) that we haven’t attend yet the classes and we apply for cancellation but they are not listening continuously calling for EMI , getting messages and calls from avanse which was sometimes threatening and rude.
We called to the mediator but nor he attended the call neither replied for our messages. Then one day he told that you didn't cancelled within ** days, which is really unfair and cheating. I can't get any possible response from my mediator. We accepted in the trust of the mediator and he doesn't tell any procedure for cancellation like mail or call to mentor.
Sir we are from a lower middle class family and my father is an Auto Driver. He only wanted me to be in a good position so he accepted the course even in lack of money.
But now my school is providing free classes then why should I pay fees without attending your course.
My parents are not educated much so they accepted simply by your staffs fake promises. They just e-signed and we didn't get any documents to read. We thought it as trusted app and didn't record any of their calls.We have only zero balance in our account due to this pandemic situation.
I request you to cancel my product as it was not even * months from buying but we made cancellation request within ** days. Please make us free from avanse phone calls and EMI .We felt into the trap by your staffs fake promises. It also affected my parents mentally by their frequent and threatening calls.
I hope that you will relieve us from this byjus app.
