- Driver left us stranded Open
On the *th of April **** at approximately ** pm, I had booked an UBER taxi from McDonald's at Saki Naka to Ghodbundar, Thane. I was given the details of the driver, whose name was Mr Rajendra and Wagon R taxi bearing number **** was shared on the app. I received a call from the driver immediately after booking, confirming pick up and drop location. I confirmed the details and waited. He arrived and waited at the nearby bus stop. I spoke to him, asking him to wait for a minute so that I could ask my mother and daughter to join me, who was waiting inside the restaurant premises. When I returned back, he was missing. I checked my phone app and it said, the trip has started. I tried calling the driver again but he did not answer. I could not book another UBER taxi until I cancelled this ride. So I cancelled and gave the above reason. Ultimately I lost full faith in UBER and booked another taxi via the OLA app for which I had to wait another ** minutes. This accordingly is definitely a deficiency of service which left my senior citizen mother and young daughter stranded late at night by the road. I have attached a receipt of the same.
