Makemytrip.com - Double payments deducted with reluctance to refund the extra payment

It has been a very disappointing experience dealing with makemytrip.com. I had made * bookings with them but for one of the bookings, the payment was deducted twice (i.e. first payment was taken out but booking failed so had to make another payment which was accepted). Normally the failed payments are reversed automatically to the bank account within a few days but in this case, I had rigorously followed up through calls/ emails to MakeMyTrip. Spoke with numerous people over the last ** days (from **nd may) but till date, I have just been asked to wait and wait. Their internal turnaround time is ** hours but every time they have asked for an extension which means at least * times I have accepted their excuse. I genuinely ask you to help get back the money and claim for the mental agony I have had to go through. I have had to face severe liquidity issues to other financial obligation which were to be met through the blocked Rs. *****.
