J Lalthangpui Hmar filed complaint against Uber Cabs on May 28, 2019
I have booked Uber on **rd May from my work to home and I have paid the driver cash Rs. *** and don’t even give me the change stating that he doesn’t have. That’s alright! What is not alright is that he put my payment pending which I have failed to check immediately. This kind of cases never happened since I used Uber. I have been Uber rider for many years. And the driver will not leave after drop off without paying them. I have mentioned this since after I complain with Uber they have asked me to pay the remaining partial payment. You can’t make partial payment nor can’t you pay the driver. I am appalled by Uber decision to let me pay the said partial pending payment. They should have known how they function better than the customer. And in the complaint section, they have asked me to provide proof. Uber doesn’t provide the receipt if you use cash as the payment options. If you paytm then you can provide the payment statement. I have decided to write in this forum because Uber doesn’t help even after complaining many times. It’s not about the money now, it’s a matter of right and wrong. Please help in solving this case.
