Our LG washing machine, Model No. WF-T****PR.AFSPEIL, had water leakage issue and we complained at LG helpline No. for the same on *rd Dec ****. LG service engineer visited our house on *th Dec **** and informed that the machine needs to be taken for repairs at the workshop. We were told that they will inspect the problem and let us know of the repair estimate before any repairs are performed. However, we were never given any estimate for the repair and machine was repaired and sent to our home the very next day. We were billed for Rs.****.** (Job No. RNP************ and Serial No. ***NWYC******) and told the machine has been repaired and there is * months warranty on the repairs done. We were rendered helpless and we were also forced to make cash payment for the bill.
Couple of weeks later our washing machine was not even able to retain water i.e. problem had worsened post repairs. We again complained at LG helpline No. The service engineer visited on **st Dec **** and informed us that there was some issue with newly installed parts and drain motor had got jammed. He fixed the problem and re-assured us that we need not worry for at least * months as the repairs were covered under warranty for * months.
We again faced same problem with our washing machine and we again complained at LG helpline No. Service engineer again visited on *nd Jan **** and informed us that Drain motor needs to be replaced and we will be charged Rs.**** for this.
Below questions would reveal the malicious intent of their service centre:
• Why machine was repaired and original parts changed without providing us any billing estimate and without our consent at the first instance?
• When problem was water leakage why and what were we made to pay Rs.****.** for?
• The problem with machine had worsened as a result of repairs conducted on *th-*th Dec ****, then why are we being asked to pay Rs.**** more?
This is seems to be a well thought out strategy to loot the customers and I don’t want to be served by such thugs.
I now feel deceived, and helpless. I would like to point that it is only because of the unprofessional services and mala fide intentions of the service centre. I have suffered undue hardship, mental frustration and also financial loss.
I would like to emphasize that:
● Their service has been deficient, unethical, and disappointing.
● I have undergone extreme stress and mental agony because of their negligent and unprofessional conduct.
