This complain is against phone pe regarding the **% cashback (maximum ***) which flipkart offers on payment via phone pe during diwali offers.
After placing a successful order, flipkart sent me *** rupees in my phone pe wallet as cashback money but unfortunately due to flipkart technical issue my order was cancelled and I received the full refund.
According to phone pe terms and conditions the refund that i shall receive will include total amount paid minus cashback amount and the cashback will remain in wallet. Company sent me full money without any deductions plus cashback violating its own terms and conditions. Then phone pe blocked user accounts for few days. After few days when phone pe unblocked the account the cashback was still there and it was suddenly gone the next day. When I contacted the phone pe customer care executive they said yes phone pe has violated its own terms and conditions but still they won’t put the cashback back into wallet. Why do customers have to pay for companies technical issues. When they put the money in my wallet the money rightfully became mine. Why should a customer pay for their blinds calculations. Further when I asked what measures have they taken for the people who have already used the cashback they were numb. I asked them how can I trust phone pe if they vanishes money from customers wallet like this and no reply came. The evidence that I provide clearly shows **** as a total cashback in my wallet before deduction. Its their terms and conditions and they should follow it first and they deducted my money without making changes and in terms and conditions. I have a copy of terms and conditions which I received from phone pe via email. I will not pay anything to company and want the wallet money credited back. Company should pay for their mistakes not customers.
