Makemytrip.com - Consumer Complaint

I made * goa bookings for * unit at MMT in the month of may **** back for Royal Palms Benaulim hotel Goa. I have stayed in the resort for at least ** times and know the quality of there room and service. Pictures displayed at the portal were of Royal Palms benaulim only.
*. I arrived at the resort with my family yesterday. Resort reception said that they dont have our bookings. Then in some time a lady came and said you are not concerned with reception and took us to show the rooms in same resort. Very complicated to explain but let me try. Royal Plams Benaulim is a very big resort. When this resort was established few nearby builders blocked few rooms and then refused to give it back to resort. Some dispute is also going on there.
*. We booked on seeing pics of Royal Palms benaulim and when we are checking in, we came to know that these units are not part of resort, it will not be maintained by resort management, rooms are shabby and even resort is not responsible for security of these units.
*. Then my ordeal started with MMT operational team. I am not sure if MMT operational team maintain some log or not but if its is maintained someone can see, I was continuously calling since * pm on **th June till * pm in the night, literally sitting on the road. In the last when I could connect to someone responsible (Mr. Dinesh), he was adamant that NK Royal Palms which is listed and Royal Palms where I landed is a different property. Refused to help us.
*. Just to mention that MMT escalation team just hide behind the wall of your customer support call center. These call centers poor guys don't know how to deal with complicated issues. Even if they could connect to someone in escalation team, they will say that it will be resolved and someone is getting back. We trusted Make my trip and made our bookings thinking that they must have done there due diligence in the end only to hear that MMT is only a platform and can not be responsible for what is being offered on the website (if you have system of call recordings, same can be checked)
*. In the end, i had to book alternative property (well again through MMT) paying exorbitant price (Rs *****) *. I wrote email to there COO as well as to there CEO without any response. I have even written on there twitter as well as other social media accounts. I also have written them email that I will take legal action but these guys seems shameless and think them above law. I am filling this complaint so that makemytrip compensate for the amount paid by me on alternative accommodation and mental harassment caused on my holidays.
