I had booked Holiday Inn Express, Katong, Singapore for my trip from **th to **th November. It was rated *star by MakeMyTrip and said it had good services and facilities.
When I checked in on **th, they put me up in a room which had no facilities. Was a very small, crammed room and very different from picture. The phone wasn't working and after a long tiring flight, I had to run around for a room change. I had to pack all unpacked luggage. They have zero service. No concierge. Had to pack and move it again. There's no in-room dining. No food service. The restaurant outside leaves food at reception and we have to go down to the reception everytime to pick up the food. Zero service.
There are no toiletries except shampoo and bodywash. And a dental kit. A two star hotel in India has better facilities. And these guys have rated it four star.
Housekeeping??? What's that??? This hotel stinks! The corridors are stinky. The housekeeping just set the bedsheet right. They didn't clean any used cups and mugs not replaced the coffee and tea supplies. The trash wasn't cleaned too. They didn't change sheets and pillow cases for all four days I stayed there. This is absolute cheating by the hotel and MakeMyTrip both. Not fair and totally unacceptable. I need a full refund for the discomfort, trauma, and terrible experience this has caused me.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
