I booked a room through www.yatra.com on **.*.** for Rs.****/-. After booking when I searched for the www.booking.com site, I found a better room on the same day at the same hotel at a lesser price for Rs.****/-. As per the lowest price guarantee scheme of www.yatra.com, if any other site is giving a better offer for a similar booking, then the customer will be refunded * times the difference in amount. Accordingly, I staked claim to get * times the difference amount of Rs. **** (Rs.**** - Rs. ****) which works out to Rs. **,***/- as a refund. My claim was not accepted by citing various frivolous reasons one after the other. Finally, they have rejected my claim by misquoting and misinterpreting an irrelevant condition in the terms and conditions of their offer. The e-mail correspondences made by me with www.yatra.com along with the screenshots are attached.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
