Devyani Chowdhury filed complaint against Ola on Jan 2, 2020
I booked a ride for Sonari, Jamshedpur to Barbil, Odisha on **th December, **** at *:** AM. For a round trip the amount shown was Rs. ****.
On **th, the assigned driver cancelled the ride as he thought was underpaid. Ola tried to find another ride, on failing of that, * rides were autogenerated for *:**. The amount was shown ****. Which I thought was fine and on starting the ride i paid the amount from my card.
On reaching the destination, the driver ended the ride and said it was a one way trip only and charged *** extra. On calling Ola on over charging the attender assured I'll get my refund and lodged complaint #*********. Following are the ride details-
Distance - ***kms
Time -***mins
Traffic -None (as the screenshot attached)
Amount should've been - *****= **** or approximately **** including pre booking and driver charges
Amount charged - ****
On demanding a refund I was provided INR *** In ola money wallet. The refund amount should have been around INR ****.
On the issue, the customer care kept saying that it's an autogenerated amount and depends on traffic. The screenshots I've attached and the time of travel proves that there was no traffic.
Those guys created the rides on their own and are charging me extra without any valid proof.
The last image shows in orange the ride i created and in green are the autogenerated rides.
Kindly help me to get a refund of my money.
